That's happened here, why on earth there would be a track entrance here is madness- but then that's the Ring! We stayed in the Hotel over looking the series of bends, I think the same hotel these guys stayed in (reading the link Dave posted) The photo really doesn't do the decline into an incline justice, after a right hander into left hander before. The left left hander being where the dude locked up behind me. Don't remember seeing anyone starting from this point, perhaps it's no longer in use?
i,m on a few audi rs forums too and a guy filmed himself doing an 8 minute something lap in his rs4 earlier this year and passed a few (not many) bikes around the outside of corners. scary stuff!! would love to go and ideally take the rs and pull the blade behind to try out both but the rs4 isn,t type approved for towing! maybe 1 day on either.
As I read that I pictured yur car with bike on the trailer zooming around the ring Make a change from the buses ehh
It's funny how OEM's of performance Cars will never 'Type Approve' their cars for towing. It's the same with all the Merc AMG Estate cars, one can only assume they are worried that if some numpty decides he's gunna unleash 500bhp with a fully laiden 2 Ton Ifor Williams on the back, his drive train, gearbox and rear floor pan will go Tits up!
