The build quality on them is fantastic in my opinion, even the bolts are etched with 'Aprilia Racing' almost 'jewel' like.

Did you part ex your bike against this ?

Awesome bike! How does it ride?

One little suggestion can you get the leavers sprayed the same color as the belly pan, I think it would make it all pop!

I had a test ride with almost all of the current sport bikes, including Ducati, Kawasaki, BMW, KTM, Triumpf etc. but I never considered Aprilia .
I don’t know why, but it never came up in my mind and I thought that’s too expensive anyway.
Only by coincidence I had the opportunity to get a test ride on the RSV4 Factory.
Man what a bike, it handles so easy and it’s perfect for me. It’s like riding a 600 cc bike, only better!
The build quality and the parts they used are fantastic, reminds me on the MV Augusta.
After the test ride I couldn’t get my mind off the bike.
Anyway, I thought NO, I am not buying this bike it’s too much money.
So, I considered to go to the “Dark Side” instead (BMW) and buy what in my opinion is the second best bike on the market.
I was on the way to the BMW Dealer to buy the S1000RR when the “Devil” came over me.
So I ended up at the Aprilia Dealer and signed the contract, of course once there, I ordered the “absolute necessary options” like Austin Racing Exhaust, Race ECU, ASV Levers, just too mentioned three Accessories.
Too many things in life are “second best”, at least my bike is not.
Even the Master himself “Arthurbikemad wrote once “It’s the best bike out of the box”.

Have a test ride and you will see………

This is the one bike I want in my collection, ok ok out and out top speed you can better it I am sure, well in a stock trim you can, tuned! good luck keeping up. This is a real corner craft weapon, amazing handling, if it's one thing Aprillia do well it's chassis development, the RSV has to be one of the sharpest bikes I know. Wish it were mine!

This is why the RSV4 has one the Fast Bikes Sports Bike of the Year for the last 4 years running, including beating the HP4S this year.

Only fly in the ointment is reliability and speed of spares supplies from Italy, but this is improving it seems.

Get your money spent Arthur, you deserve it, your only here once.

Knowing you, you will know someone in the trade where you can get a good discount.

Its been so tempting mate!!! Let me tell you if I am buying now thats me!

I spent most of that on new Camera gear this year as I need something else in my life other than my day to day of bikes, computers, cctv, the yard and so on, something where life slows down a little and thats my photography. BUT man I love that Aprilia and before I am gone I WILL have one!

Stunning machine. How does the matt paint finish hold up on the tank when leathers are rubbed up against it ?

    That’s a very good question!
I went to a professional workshop to asked exactly your question and how
I should take care of matt black paint etc.
    Answer:
Very difficult, the best way is only to use plain water etc. etc.
He said, matt paint is a nightmare if you don’t take care of it the right way.
In my case, it’s not a real problem because I clean my bike almost after every long ride and
I don’t have a problem with the paint so far.
I did not use any of the “matt paint” recommendation like you will find at Halfords etc. etc.
I think the trick is, keep it clean and remove dirt, insects etc. from the paint as soon as possible.
I do have a tank pad as well and no problems because it covers the paint.

That is almost a full cover.
Maybe to much for me. I must see it on the bike to get a better impression.
