Agree entirely. I remember my own situation re failings seeking opinions and Rothmans came out ahead of Castrol. Still did my own thing In the case of the Arrow, I might still be living in the past with my preference for the megaphone look, but I'm so close to dropping money one.
Right......after dilly dallying around for the last couple of weeks I've decided to go with the Pro Race version The pics above doesn't really do it justice to be fair so I've posted this one, looks much better close up! I've just ordered it through B and C express who are a UK supplier. So.…...what do I need now so that I don't get an error code on the dash? I'm thinking a Healtech Servo Eliminator...….correct? or can you just turn the servo wheel back into position once you've disconnected the cable like on older models?
You can leave the servo motor connected and you won't get the error code. A Healtech Servo Eliminator would do the trick but IMO it is better to put the money towards a remap. The Woolich software can turn off the error code in the ECU.
Hi Paul. Beware! Is that plus or including VAT. I was trying to buy one of these just last week. I was quoted £600-plus with B & C and then tried another company who frigged me around with this: Hi Nigel, Nice to speak to you. I was in doubt when you advised of the alternative price you found. I spoke to our representative with Arrow and they advised that it’s £685.08 inc vat as it’s a half system. They apologised for the administration error. So the price you have found is cheaper. I’m not aware of any other companies in the UK selling it for £645. Unfortunately we wouldn’t be able to compete with that price. Just trying to prevent a horrid surprise.
They Sorry I was 9 quid out...... It was actually £554. I was also quoted the figure you said Nigel..... But I said to the salesman at BandC that I'd spotted it for sale by MotoTopgun on ebay who are Italian based. Had a word with his manager and agreed to price match...... No added VAT and free delivery! Deals gone through mate
Have you had first hand experience of this @dgr ? so you can just disconnect the cable from the servo wheel and it'll work without throwing up an error? Not ready to go down the remap route yet.....see how it runs first!
It will work if the servo motor is left in place, it will not throw a code. If you remove the servo and do not use a servo eliminator, it will throw a code and run like shite. I had to put my servo back in temporarily when my servo eliminator died on me.
Yes, all options actually. I fitted a servo eliminator at the same time as my Scorpion exhaust. When I had a remap the warning light was turned off in the ECU so I sold the servo eliminator on to a forum member. I recently had a problem with my bike so had the standard map put back and refitted the servo motor whilst Honda investigated. I've never seen the warning light in any configuration.
