Matt, that's exactly what I was thinking of myself. Would be interested to know what you make of it, should you get one
Ive got an austin racing can on my 2011 blade i keep the baffle in as its very loud without it they seem well made and i like mine its the GP ultimate carbon
Matt am I reading this right you want to remove your yoshi zorst and fit the Austin zorst to get in to quiet trackdays? I don't think any aftermarket exhaust gets close to the lower noise levels the stock exhaust gets in db's.
Well I've just found this thread and I will say I'm getting an Austin Racing can now!! I was torn between the Scorpion or the Austin but the Austing is getting the thumbs up. Now I need to decide what style to put on my 2011 Blade?????
You want one of these... wish i spotted it before. It looks and sounds awesome check out some youtube clips. Arrow GP2 Titanium Race Can Honda CBR1000RR 2008-13 | Motorcycle Exhausts | Performance Parts
LOL I just changed my post, I've looked at these before but the Austin Racing can ticks all the boxes for me. The thing I don't like about the Arrow is that there is no infill pannel for it!!
Ok Tyke I will do mate. I'm not to sure about the Arrow as I'm not sure its road legal and that? The police are shit hot on that sort of thing where I live!!
This is the Austin Racing on my Aprilia and if it fitted on the new blade it would be straight on it without a doubt. Unfortunately it wont fit so it is being sold in order to buy another Austin. This is my fourth in a row and the build quality is fantastic and the sound is amazing. Not the most neighbor friendly exhaust out there though
As per intro thread mate, i was looking at this for my blade a while back - but they have stopped making this style as the extended pipe clashes with the blades swing arm apparently. so they are only making a stubby one which pokes out at the bottom and doesnt look as good imo! if you want similar style to that, racefit do the growler and growler black - proper nice but LOUD! or the scopion which are good quality. what made you get rid of the aprilia mate?
Went to that from a BM s1000rr but the missus just prefers the sport bike riding position as she can see over me and gets an idea of what is coming so she is ready for it. On the Tuono she has to lean to one side which plays havoc with the wheelies
Was gona get a Rsv4 but to be honest. I think the blade once fettled a bit is a better mannered road bike. May not be as aggressive but that depends who's on it at the time. I also want to do a few European tours next year and have grown quite attached to my spine lol
Well when I get back from my few weeks away to work I'm going to order the Austin Racing exhaust V3 end can. BUT I was a bit worried by someone on another forum that said dont leave your bike out in the rain with this can fitted, Has anyone heard of any problems with this?
Not heard that before but as it tends to point upwards more than most I can see where the train of thought may come from. I have had more than one of these and even after being caught out in the rain over night more than once when camping have never had a problem. The fact that water collects in the bottom of most exhausts from condensation is not generally regarded as a problem and is soon expelled once running. You would have to have a major concentrated down poor for a long period for enough water to cause a problem.
