Home now, had a great time, the Blade is a fantastic touring bike,so so easy to eat up the miles, had throw over panniers with side supports and rode well at 150 mph no problem. 2400 miles round trip , and the scenery in the Tirol,Austrian alps was amazing
Stayed at the bottom of Stelvio pass, I found the Stelvio pass a real pain on the blade,1st gear corners at 2mph, buses,cars other bikes,,the GS is better suited to such a goat track of a road,,still a must to tick off though, half way up and a thunder ,hail storm, rode to the top and sheltered under hot dog sellers umbrella, half an hour later sun out and rode back down the way we came.
