I must need my eyes testing cuz try as I might I just cannot make the slight reflection on that window look like an old lady But then I'm with blaggers on this, no such thing lol.

Just a bump for this spooky thread. Yesterday afternoon I saw a goldfinch with an injured wing in the garden. I tried to round it up so I could put it in a box in the shed and see if it would recover and it hopped underneath the overhang and although I could see him in there, I couldn't reach him. I checked on him again a bit later and he was still there relatively safe from the Tabby Retriever, so I dropped a handful of sunflower seeds down the gap for him. When I went to bed, I shone a torch down the gap and he was lying on his side, obviously dead, so I lifted away the slabs that covered him and.....the body was completely skeletonised!!!! Now. Either the injured one had hopped away and at some time in the past another one had crawled in there to die, in exactly the same spot. Quite a coincidence. Or... What thef uck is living under my shed!
