Easiest way is to buy a one with a coloured slide from Elite Shooting, you don't need a licence or anything for this.
You also order an alloy slide which are much better than the standard plastic ones. Swap them over, job done.

Alternatively you join some gun club ( Mike will give the details ) for £15 or so then you can buy what you want from Elite without all of that confusing being in a club rubbish.

The law was created to stop the sale of BB and airsoft guns (or any other type of airgun) over the internet, I think you will find the licence is only required to buy them remotely, as far as I know you can still buy and own an airgun etc the same as before just now the sale needs to be face to face.

    Info here:-

    http://www.airgunshooting.co.uk/expert-advice/airgun_law_in_the_uk_1_1111764

I have a section 1 FAC and shotgun licence and don't know of any sub legal limit FAC regs for airguns.

i need a Air Pistol - no licence required..

Spoke to Air Pistols - Air Weapons

Have a large range available..thinking shall i stick to a £200ish budget as i would think the more the better?

    try guntrader.co.uk.

you can get any gun transfer to you local RFD and pick up usual cost around 20 -25 quid.

i would really look for a secondhand original or Weihrauch

Love my Beretta's I've even had the Beretta logo tattooed on my right forearm. Not shot so much this year due to running a football team, but when I go the lads still go home with the tail between their legs. Not shot against George Digweed since March but lasttime out I beat him by 2 98ex100.No winning for him that day:D

Thats a sub 6 ftlb air pistol, it shoots 177 cal lead pellets, you can walk into your local shop and buy one with no problem. The other guns you have been looking at are airsoft that shoot plastic BBs.

To give you an idea of power the air pistol will penetrate a fence panel at close range the airsoft will not. You obviously do not want any projectiles be it BB or pellet passing your garden boundaries - very bad news if this happens!!!!

The TM Hi Capa I had was uprated and the worst it would do is badly sting your arse and leave a bruise.
As said an air pistol will leave the pellet stuck in.
Strange the way they have the laws/rules.

Arthur, whatever you have will be the equivalent of a Ferrari !

My Benneli is spanking mate! It's mega simple but fast as hell! The 391 is a gas auto, in contrast they are complex and dirty, I.e they use gas from the barrel to power the mechanism that reloads the next cartridge unlike the Benneli that uses the recoil of the fired cartridge to reload the next shot (simple terms). A shotgun is a powerful firearm and even more so when semi automatic. The AR15 I have is a replica of a real AR but known as a AP74 by Jagar. It's .22LR (the only semi auto rifle caliber you can have in the UK) and is 15 shot semi auto, fun on the range chasing a few cans around, it's hit and miss and jams now and then, a mate got it for me as he felt I needed one...lol Thanks for that I said...lol

Same as this, less the bayonet lol
