Yea I kind of think the idea of shredding the artwork was good. But I didn't really understand who bought the artwork and who was in on the joke and who wasn't. Just felt a bit meh about the whole thing.

Well @bazzashadow old bean.....betcha wish Banksy had scribbled on the side of Chez Bazza now BBC News - Buyer 'willing to pay £100,000 for Port Talbot Banksy' http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-46812657
I'd always volunteer - so long as he keeps hold of the brush handle with no intention of inverted strokes!
Here ya go peeps, forgot, me and the wife went to have a look see at this the other day. Turns out the guy who owns the garage never put the stuff up to protect it, it was the actor Michael Sheen who paid for it, as incidentally he is from Port Talbot and wished to protect it from abuse. He has also paid for full time security who are parked up along side it in a heated mini portacabin thingy! Apparently the owner has been offered £100k by the council so they can pay and have it moved to a place where it can be viewed by all, and he turned it down! Maybe he is just holding out for more......I know I would be!
Vandal or not, that is sooo friggin' brilliant. It's just so three-dimensional - true life representation!
I like this humorous take on it by satirical website the-eye-wales!...... Some thick fuckers about though, read the comments! https://the-eye.wales/banksy-artwork-found-in-swansea-roadworks/
it gets right on my tits this. I dont think there is much physical artistic talent, compared to other graffiti or street art. political statements, well, yes. Just look at some of the graffiti and street art to see some actual talent
in all seriousness though, have a look at the street art and graffiti in that link i posted. These people are doing it just for the pleasure of it, not because they want to pretend to hide from the public a lot of the real work is out of public view and is rarely seen. Not in obviously public areas while screaming 'dont look at me, im shy'
