But @blink, look at the boy and the anvil. The perspective, colour, shading, dimension. He's actually standing in front of the wall - not just painted on it. No 'ordinary' graffitist can achieve such reality, and I say this in condemnation of desecrating public property, but here the issue is the merit of the art itself. As @exuptoy says: 'Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.' Just weighing in with mine.
Bull crap! Art is in the eye of the beholder. If I see an anvil, well, that's what it is. On the other hand, not sure how well it would handle on the ski slopes.
Hey, don't jump on me over your half-reading of my post! Now I'm going to be all stressed out while heating my Baked Beans for dinner.
Well and truly. And it actually surprised me, only because the older members of the forum would have - in my mind - been more traditionalists and viewed the works as damage. Not re-igniting the debate, merely saying.

im not saying its bad, just that it gets far more hype than its worth. its all stencils by the way, thats how it gets done so fast. some of the work i photograph takes weeks to complete
So are you suggesting that Banksy's been sighted with massive sheets of cardboard up against walls and set to painting as if performing a 'paint by numbers' pictorial like we did as kids?
Just put random strange items in their trolly when they're not looking....juvenile but very satisfying
