Looks like the owner never used the GT85, on the header pipes ask for ££ off or ask them to replace them you'll be suprised at what you can get done

.... As for the buzzing, I've got a S1000XR and compared to that my fireblade is like an electric motor it's that smooth. Might be wise to look for a non abs model though.

What's the power delivery like on the 15 plate blade ?? I sold my 1198 which was mental from the offset now riding an 07 r6 which is all top end revving which is fun but can be quite annoying when your in the wrong gear(No low end torque). Hoping the fireblade will be somewhere in the middle.

    Cheers

I can only describe the power delivery as seamless, you can literally leave it in 3rd and just ride it as a wind and go if you wish, for a road bike imho nothing comes close. It will never be able to contend with the instant torque of your 1198, it won’t disappoint either but it will never give you that special feeling riding a Ducati does.

Bar vibration was a big problem for me when I first got my RR7.
I cured it by changing the mass of the bar ends. They float with the cartridges in the bars and increasing the mass tunes the buzzing away.
I think some people are more sensitive than others, I've met riders who've never had numb hands.
Last year I rode a S1000RR and it got my hands within 10miles.
I believe the GSX and the BM have deleted the balancer shaft which makes it worse.

It just felt a little bit small/cramped mate, and after a couple of hours I was sure it was not for me.

Very similar to the RSV4 I had, but I let my heart tell me it would be OK, so bought it, only to sell it 6 weeks later.

Interesting. I sat on one at aprilia in Swindon. Did all the jigging around and make believe racer crouch. Same thing - very tight fit. I then went and bought my SP2. Probably a similar tight fit - but it's a Honda!!

I'm guessing someone got a great deal with a six-week-old bike!

For a change, I actually did OK, as I got the bike for a very good price, so got my money back on it.
