Si - Didn't you have any decent music to test the system? Or was it the builder's apprentice's iPod you borrowed?

Floor fitted today, painted last night, telly and ipad fitted for the final time. I'm knackered.

kitchen is getting delivered this week, so will be putting that in with a mate either Sunday or early next week.

Nearly done….just for the kitchen doors to fit, the boiler cupboard making and plinths on. 2 days work i reckon. Just finished skirting and without a mitre saw was a right ball ache to fit as matching old walls which are miles out to new, straight ones was a fekin nightmare… only a few 45 deg angles in there…..

Emmas just cooking tea ( the first home cooked meal since July). It may not be rest edible, but i'm looking forward to it! Been ill all week with the shits and vomiting and with work and working on this until early hours every night i'm right knackered.
All the streaming stuff works seamlessly and sounds and looks the bollox…well chuffed.

Well, all finished today. Plinths and cornices fitted, and i managed to finish making the side rails, handrails, spindles and concreting the decking posts in and finishing off the raised deck from the kitchen doors to outside. I'm well chuffed.

Dining room is finished now, just a quick paint on the lounge walls and touch up woodwork in hall before Xmas.

I'm skint as a tramp now though....

Oh, added new mutiroom amp and another apple tv to lounge, and new wall speakers and sub for music and films.

    Works seamlessly this Apple stuff!

Fantastic Si and looking forward to an " Apple" lesson to bring me into this century .That little cupboard under the external stairs is a bit worrying though .Not the old mother In law routine I hope!
