i had a older Audi R6..... jesus so smooth and the can be penuts now. if it wasn't for the rep that evo have id be there again if the missus would allow, as for now looking for a 530d........ not even allowed a M5. to be fair we do about 30k a yer so has to be a oil burner
I have always been suspicious that BMW have a clone of me in a cupboard that they use for ergonomic testing as since I've been driving, every single Beemer I've ever driven has felt like a perfect fit.
I would have to go a little old-school, and get a mint E39 M5, the last of the great, pure, super-saloons... sure the E60 had an amazing engine, but weighed 400kg more than the E39, and the E39 has perfect 50/50 weight distribution... goes round corners like its on rails! This one looks tasty: BMW AUC E39 M5
Find a good one of these, smiles per miles is immense, only sold it has I had an offer I could not refuse
BMW were on Watchdog tonight after refusing to cough up for loads of Cam Chain Snaps on badly designed engines in 1, 3 & 5 series Cars where the chain is mounted at the back thus requiring the whole engine to be removed to replace it! Yeah................ cracking 'Fail' that Beemer!
Best car I've ever owned and better Lookin than a boxter Plus it's a hard top better in the winter and for better security.
The Boxster/Cayman is the better drive (marginally), but the Z4 is stunning. The latest one with its shark nose (ala 80's 6 series) is a work of art. Been trying to convince my missus that she should have the big family car, leaving me clear to get a Z4, but she wont have it.
I've been on auto trader all night looking at these, and also the E36 M3. I think a test drive should settle it between the 2.
yes i could be tempted next year and they also suffer with carbon build up in the inlets due to a design flaw and can easily loose 10 percent of its power so will get both done at same time! that z4 looks lovely if i was a bmw man!
