Baby wipes i find are the best, use them for years! some are better than others ie dont break up. Or some chain cleaner on areas where chain lube has flung up. Never use water... its the devils blood!!! Bike never goes out in anything but dry these days. If it did then maybe i would use water abit if it was proper dirty. You'd ideally want a air line to blow all water out of the nuts and bolts too. But yeah baby wipes and now i have matte bodywork its a breeze to clean. (with special matte cleaner/polish) other areas swingarm etc after baby wiping then polish. Got idea years ago from a friend who used babywipes i think its the best way.
I use them on my jackets in conjunction with leather preserver, but never used on bike. Will keep it in mind!
yes me to baby wipes gets flys off etc , mine gets 1 proper clean with the use of water before it goes off the road for the shitty weather , jet washer pre wash , snow foam , proper clean with muc off , rinsed , blow dry , clay bar , polish , autoglym wax . pheww im knackered just thinking about it now , lol
So what have you got at home? A garage or a friggin' boutique? Suppose you got a 'footpeg' bath for it too!!
I use maguiars ultimate compound, then stage 2 polish then nxt wax once a year. Wash the bike in autoglym or maguiars wash and then get the water off with a meguiars water magnet and then top up the nxt wax ever month
