Bike dropped and livid.

    Feel for you Sideways, done it myself years ago and wrecked the front caliper riding off with bloody thing on.
    Prefer these now

    Now thats a reminder to remove your disc lock. Bikes going nowhere with that on!

    Exactly why I don't have a disc lock! I know it'd only be a matter of time before I did the same...

    That will be idea,l disc lock I will use to lock my pushbikes up.

    I have a disklock for the front and a small padlock for the rear.
    With them both on the bike won't move forward or back.
    You can feel it immobilised as soon as you swing a leg over.

    Sorry to hear about that Sideways.

    This is one reason i prefer alarmed disc locks...the moment you move the front wheel or even straighten it, the thing goes off.
