I put some trellis up on my side of a neighbours fence and she complained to the council.. they came round and told me if I lowered it by 2" it would be fine.. what a waste of time!!

Is that the back end of 3 garages then? Unless the drilling has knocked anything off the walls inside I cant see how they will know lol

Right I spoke to one of the neighbours, and she was really nice and said no issues - she loves bikes!

Now what kind of a door can I get on..need a wide opening..

Was thinking shutter -- but costs ate near £700 for that!

    Any thought?

Spoke to the other neighbours all ok..spoke to the council they said you can build as you like providing you don't go over the guide lines..

As for me going intot the neighbours wall - this is a private matter and does not concern the council - bit neighbours are ok with this..

    Work update

    Looking good Samuk.
Keep a look out on EBay etc, roller shutters come up quite frequent.
Don't forget to put polythene down before you concrete. ;)
Are you putting a ceiling in? We had some 100mm polystyrene over put it between the Eve's, amazing the difference in temperature.
Still haven't got round to plumbing my radiator in yet,;)

I need a odd size, 1.2m wide by 2.2m tall..cant find these sizes..have been quoted like £600! which i thought was little expensive...so still looking.

I am not sure if i will concrete - will that be easy to do? i was looking for a easy option? maybe dig up and put new slabs down..? again unsure?

Roof - i have a roof - though its PLY wood with felt on top - shall i stick polystyrene under it - you think it will help?

You see the support from the right garage? the angled wood...i was thinking of getting a sheet of plastic and running it from front to back..this will seal off and hide the gutter etc..

Nice job, I've been doing the garden, done a path and a raised veg bed, she thinks it's all for her....haha, keeps the soil off the slabs where I wash my bike and now I can ride it down the garden.....lol

Just thought it would be less space to heat up?

Give Givover a chat re flooring he may have some better ideas, what ever you put down id put a vapour barrier down just stops the damp grinning through, slabs or concrete will be fine. Cheapest option really. I put concrete down and painted floor with paint. Nice and easy to keep clean.
