I have a little C2 VTS by Sabastien Loeb No:415/500 A bit school boy racer yes but its cheap to run . Quick and handles like a GoKart . Loads of fun
one of my old mates has just bought a db9. christ knows how as he hasn,t worked in years but his wife seems to have endless supply of money. its 6 year old but still about 35-40k. me just a golf gttdi. have tried fairly quick cars but compared to a bike they just seem slow so opted for decent build quality with good running costs. if i ever get to spend about 30k on a car it,ll be an audi rs4 avant. maybe one day!!
I have a BMW 320d estate 07 and the wife has a 08 vaux astra cdti.......... Wee man has a Joey Dunlop rep kiddimoto bike........ Gonna convert the two cars into one after summer as wee man will start per school then..... Thinking about a6 estate or 530d m sport estate........
I ownes a BMW 320d M Sport for about a year. Very nice but just wasnt practical. It was too small and the "performance" in the snow was a joke. It turned into a sledge at any sign of snow. Back end stepped out just turning out of my road, rear wheel hit the kerb. The result was around £2000 repairs.
Yep I agree they are shite when snow arrives even with decent tyres on.My wife was stranded in her 320d and asked me to pick her up and I was in the 120d.I picked her up and got us both stranded 1 mile away from home.We both walked home and 3 months later bought the X5 never had a problem since.
I have a 97 VW Polo that has done 160 K. I used to spend a lot on cars, but somehow lost interest in them and focussed more on bikes. Would quite like a Golf for my next car.
Well as an every day bus i have a BMW 520D M Sport Then when it snows or im out on the mountain bike this comes out. and in the snow it will go anywhere. I had a bit of a thing with cars but called it a day back in may and sold this monster that i had rebuilt 3 times. ended up with 696.5bhp and 605ft lb at the hubs. But it was a money pit and an endless one at that.
