It is looking shitty and i can't express how pissed off I'm going to be if this doesn't work out Im going to refrain from my usual virgin scarifies as it didn't work for Goodwood, but open to options ! So wish we were spanish then we wouldn't have to put up with this shit
How come every weekend we have planned it pis-es down, and when nothings planned it's glorious sunshine
Given it crap here & as much as I'm a tough old bird I don't fancy 400 mile round trip getting drenched
Again, my level of pissed offness is heading for a whole different level ! I have planned... Kept bike wrapped in cotton wool, so as to keep it in prime, show condition... Ive held back on the trigger, so as not to run the risk of binning it and not making the meet... Ive even done battle with the members of Fireblade Owners Club over narrow minded views on our choice of blade and parking as a group at the event in question... And what do i get for my troubles ?! Another day in the garage throwing spanners at the wall while it pisses down outside while trying to put a Goldwing back together !! There is something wrong with that picture on so many levels I question if its the work of the Gods... Do they foresee the possible carnage on the cards from having their Children of Speed out on the loose all together on public roads and the potential boisterousness that could evolve... Nah, its just bollocks and I'm gonna be so so pissed off and have even more distain for this country than i already have if my Met Office app doesn't sort itself out and show me something other than "heavy rain"
Could we kindly suggest the Doble and FOC... to move the event one day earlier? ;-) Saturday looks just perfect, blue sky, 16 degrees..
I reckon it's Justin Bieber coming that's got the rain gods angry.....maybe we could ask him to move.......back to Canada
It seems that the weather forecast is finally improving! BBC weather reads: 'cloudy, but no rain from 10am' ;-)
Looking more promising. I'm going to review later tomorrow as would love to come along but not going to get soaked. I'm fine with a few showers but not torrential rain all day...
I will also come along but wait it see forecast tomorrow looking better all the time could be wet 1st thing then drying throughout the morning .
Dare i risk jinxing it, but it is looking that it might be ok... Im possibly gonna get drizzled on a bit first thing, but i will have to live with it i suppose... All being well, ill be catching the 0700 boat JD ! First meeting point at around 0800 at the Mcdonalds !
London is looking shittier than the south coast still so gonna freestyle the decision til the morning
Just come in from a good ride now looking hissing down all day Sunday especially around the area we would be heading to don't mind drizzle but not heavy rain - ps can ride in the wet but don't enjoy all the cleaning that goes with it
Is looking fantastic now but things change with time. Light rain they predict for tomorrow so i think many of us will make the decision tomorrow morning. If it is a piss up, then is not happening and i suggest we meet up some other day instead. Fingers crossed
Pretty much my sentiments too. Spent my life riding in rain and not fazed by it, but my new found ocd when it comes to keeping my baby clean will throw me into the depths of despair !
