Thanks i thought i was dreaming it up .Anyhow as a raw 16 year old cutting his teeth in wild west Bolton The Blob shop was the Yates Wine Lodge in Deansgate and believe me or not (Whipersnappers) but it was a big place all wooded floorboards with sawdust and there was a Stainless Steel barrier snaking around the room and all these old piss cans would shuffle around until they (Me) got to the bar where the Blob would be ordered this was a cocktail of Aussie White Wine with a drop of warm water with a spoon of sugar and a dash of lemon ,very revolting and not long after it was like a scene out of the Exorcist ,Oh happy days (perhaps why i drink very little now ha!

Certainly no dream there mate. Sounds like one or two nightmares of our youth, What with your spewing and Kens shitting his pants "guilty on both counts over the years" BTW.
Don't think they will ever rebuild our Yates. I think I've seen plans for it to be a garden? I guess alcohol will still be consumed on the site? just by the local unclean and down and outs swilling their cider. :(

Sounds like they'd need Megs up there with a decontamination team in Haz Mat suits before they can do anything with it.

    Right. The blob removal thread......

First of all, assemble the right tools for the right job.

And this time I didn't forget the most important tools of all.

    Pre mod

How the removal tool attaches to the fitting.

    Almost there.

    The offending article.

And the all important tidying up process.

    So. Is it worth it?

Well obviously the extra ground clearance turning left is now incredibly improved. In fact it matches that of turning right. Plus the bike is so much more balanced and much lighter to sit up due to the decreased inertia way out on the left hand side, but most vitally, according to Jeanette's Fat Loser clubs cheese wotsit weighing machine, removing it has saved me 14 grammes.

I know it's gonna piss Bennetts off but I'm hoping that Dan is going to be so proud of me.

I'm still trying to come up with a subtle way of breaking it to them.

Thanks Ken, for probably what is the best how to I have ever read, words simply cannot convey the joy I feel knowing I to can now remove my hero blob correctly

I had no idea what to do to remove the offending article, last time I used a crane, dynamite, acetylene torch and the A team and it took us three days and we still failed... a first for Hannibal who took it really badly ! I thought I was doomed to a life stuck with them before now :)

Thanks once again Ken, your my HERO :)

It's understandable Gaz, this kind of upgrade's not for the faint hearted or the weak pelvic floored.

These are a new limited edition pre-fitted with tear aways to save you hassle when cleaning them.

They're pretty exclusive, I expect Bats will be getting them soon.

I hadn't cleaned it yet, I'd only just got off it.

I needed to polish my boots, de fly my leathers, feed the leather, polish it, clean my crash helmet, polish the visor, de blob the bike...

    Then I could clean it.

    Cuh! Everyone's a bloody critic!
