Maybe if I'm goin with the wind I can make up some time on wedgie!! You comin on the blade or r6 mate?
Bringing both mate at the mo my back is doing my head in but should be ok for Monday Hey and your the king of Cadwell lol
I'll prepare myself to be de-throned then, really hope I'm not slowest in fast group, I've been fastest in inters last 2 times though
I'm sure you won't be mate our times seem to be about the same bud I wish I was your age and going aswell as you are I feel like I'm getting a bit old to go racing but really I'm only just at the point where I can afford it . Try and get a double jump at the mountain ? Lol
Fast group usually is either people who are quick on the road feel like they will be on track or race guys getting a bit of testing in before race day . Or people who are quick in inters and need pulling round by someone who is quicker Just don't try and hang onto John Reynolds in the wet like I did . He told me if I can get round you can follow me 2 corners I though aliens had abducted him goooooone ha ha
I feel old starting now! Wish I had got into track riding cos now having done it I've realised I was ready for it atleast 2 years ago! Deffo wanna get into racing, if I can lift a trophy by the time I'm 30 I'll be happpy! 6 years and counting.. lol Novice - fast in 6 trackdays gives me a bit of confidence too
From what i've seen on youtube though you're certainly not gonna be slowest when you start racing wedge
You are never too old to go racing. Don't let a number put you off at all. The guy I race with is 66 and in the Formula 600 superstocks and genuienly having the time of his life. Go for it. You WILL regret if in later life if you don't go for it now when you can.
I know I keep on going on about it on here and it is probably getting a bit tiresome, but trackdays make road riding seem tame, racing make trackdays seem tame. It is the most exciting thing I have ever done. I am 40 in 2 weeks time and I am not the youngest in the paddock, but I certainly am not the oldest either. And as for the guys on the classics, well, some of them can barely walk, but put them on a classic Honda 350 or the like and they are born again.
God how long have you got! Will tell you all i know at Oulton on the 2nd. Unless you need to know something before then. In which case I will answer it now.
