No no the black ones have the 'advanced' ECU to handle more power and the HRC's only have a bog standard basic ECU for lower power management..... ;)

No No dear sir i think you are mistaken, I think you'll find that the HRC bikes are fitted with this ecu as stock
HONDA CBR1000RR HRC RACE ECU - UK ROAD AND RACE
The poor saplings on Repsols and normal colour bikes dont have this, you'll find if you ask about that too that you wont be allowed to buy it unless you have a HRC Scheme bike too.

    ;)

You do know that the term HRC is a dyno chart reference??
It was a term that the dyno engineers used when they had reached MAXIMUM power for a non Repsol Bike!
it stands for 'HALF Repsols Curve' if they managed to get half the power of a Repsol they badged it up as HRC.
Hope that little bit of info helps your day :)

best we dont mention the black ones, dont want to start a war or anything...but we all know they belong to polishers not riders ;)

    let the battle commence lol

No no no kind sirs...... The Repsol is just the illegitimate child of the fireblade family. As you can see it has a bit of each bike in it, even a HRC sticker! It doesn't know what it is so just tries to be a little of everything at once. If it was a dog it would most certainly be a mongrel! So in summary if you had a massive fireblade gang bang orgy with no decent R&G protection after 9months a Repsol would turn up......

HRC's are some weird half breed albino looking mo'fo's.....

HRC = Honda Reducing Costs model :D

Not a single HRC sticker on my Repsol, and nope I did not remove them! I believe they took them off the 2011 models as it slowed them down

Oh my bad! I thought the HRC model was for the 'other persuasion' riders....

I'll blind you with my infrared mouse then pull your pants down like all the 600's do to the HRC's on track!! :D

Ooooh decisions decisions, see HRC bikes dont have this issue ;)

All joking aside, RE might be busy with the nitrous drag series bikes they are doing at the moment. (203bhp Gixer at the wheel! and a monster Busa)

Yeah might just have to learn to have some patience.... :(

MSS specialise in the race bikes more than road bikes so a lot of money and distance to travel extra and it might not be worth it just to get it done sooner...
