cheap ainit...always wanted a pair but £120 was little steep at the time.. worth going through there shop.. just bought the gloves, boots, bar end, and afew other bits and bobs, and put silly offers in other items..You never know.. Sam
well i have just spent £200 on stuff that i really did not need..that is if all my offers get accepted. ..oh well!
..and HG accepted every offer i made! Down from £60 to £30 offer..missing toe sliders..but for £30 can you complain? ALPINESTAR SMX PLUS BOOTS - RED & SILVER *B GRADE* | eBay
haha funny! Very odd only BIG sizes were left in store @ HG in ilford 43 i think i saw a 44 too... though only only in black. no colors left!
The new plus model is a bit more like the top model (forgot the name). I got my black ones for 180 from HG.
Plenty of 42,43 &44 at welling! Though it's odd how not smx5 - only plus everywhere.. Though I was speaking to the guy who deals with the eBay auctions..he said the administrators are not letting them put out all the stock and it's allot mainly HG stuff out..
Woohoo...delivery has arrived.. Boots are a good fit...unsure what i will be doing with 2 pairs..but hey for the price i cant complain! The gloves are a nice fit - being a medium though are little hard to get off - this should loosen up right? when i tried the large on for the RST's the fingers were too long..hence i thought id get a medium..(may order another few pairs..£60! a bargin and goretex too.. Still thinking i should get some SMX 5 for daily use. Maybe i should have got more a neutral color..
i was about to buy my brother a pair from ebay - they had near 5 pairs of blue and 2 of red - all gone, before i click buy it now! They have taken off the site..possibly due to them finding a buyer!
New Boots I think the time is getting near when I have to take my boots to the vet and get him to do the right thing. Apart from being tight, my main problems with replacing them are that there aren't many I've seen that I like enough to overcome my tight arsedness to spend out on and that because the shin armour in my leathers is fixed to the knee cups so I can't remove it and it makes most boots I've tried too tight at the calves. However. I quite like the look of these and wondered if anyone has had experience of them. TCX RS2's
Well, the NEC show is just around the corner so you could sate both your tight-arsedness and boot fit worries in one go, as you could take your leathers and try a few on and hopefully get a bargain in the process? (Of course, if you weren't planning on going to the show before then you'd need to factor in petrol money on top)
