And all for the ABS model.
We shall soon see how this works ;)

Lets hope you're not 'Bleeding' mad at the end of it!

Little Tip Col, check inside all the banjo ends for swarf and clean them out with a 2-3mm drill bit just twirled between ya fingers.
There will be some in there I can assure you. ;)

Thanks for the heads up. My banjos also have the machining burrs in them. I'll remove them at work tomorrow.

Glad I remembered to mention it, not the best thing to have floating round Hondas ABS system! [IMG]

My Hel lines had quite a lot of swarf in them but it comes out easily enough using the right sized drill bit

I'll manage it at work, and use a small scope to check that I get it all out.

Plain lazy to not remove the burrs to be honest. It only takes an extra tool in the machine setup and 10 seconds extra time to do it properly.

Yeah, that's what we all said but as Arthur pointed out, he sees it as part of the fitting process to check for and rectify these things, which is all well and good if U have a proper Engineer like him doing the fitting.

Most 'Spanner Monkeys' or 'DIY Joes' would be oblivious to these things and just waz em on 'as is'!

Its all down to cost to be honest. That and a lack of caring.

Just sold my Repsol and purchased a non abs sp :).. Big question is do I keep the m4s that are on or fit the hpks and sell the m4s? Any one got experience with both and could offer advice? Sure the hpks are more blindly but I'd rather have the money in my pocket if performance isn't much issue... Cheers in advance lads

Fit the HPK'S mate and sell the M4's. No doubt about it.

Hard to compare the two as there isn't going to be anyone with experience of the blades M4, SP "M4"'s aren't the same as the after market M4 (SP 30/32 aftermarket M4 34/34) we're designed between Honda and Brembo for the blade and match the blades current calipers pistons. So in that case would say the HPK are going to be a big step up http://1000rr.co.uk/mods-upgrades-accessories-products/15079.htm see this link for more tech stuff

Stick on the HPKs + RCS and there you have a SP+! As the HPKs are more established I'm guessing you will have a wider choice of pads too.

First dibs on the SP monos :D

Think I'm gonna leave the sp as it is for now and see how the monos are. Sure they will be great. Gita carbon aki to fit and the hm plus shifter I got off Greame so should be happy days. Wife will batter me if the postman starts coming all the time with bits again. Need to sneak them in under the radar..:D

Think the Brembo or Accossato callipers will perform similar . Have a look on the Omnia Racing website they are lots cheaper on there SPS .
