I have the Brembo RCS M/C, M4 Calipers and T Drives plus HEL lines and that gives me all the braking I need, stopping now is nearly as much fun as accelerating :)

The rear doesn't bother me much but Brembo disc and pads plus HEL lines has made it feel like it does something.

I'm the same mate. No point in not using a good set of discs that are good enough.

don't shoot me if I'm wrong, brembo HPK calipers are different than the M4 calipers

The HPK are forged and the M4 are cast, price difference is about double I though, or close too

Can someone confirm this please? ;)

I agree skippy your correct these are mono block M4 callipers the HPK are different, a lot of people advertise them as high performance kit HPK

There still awesome but not as good or as expensive as the HPK callipers

I think that's right as I'm confussed as well lol

I've had 2 pairs of those HPK's, are nice but over rated, had one pair on my 09 blade and the other on my 2003 R6 with upgraded front end, only just sold it.
TBH the difference on the original 09 calipers and the HPK weren't that big, I had the complete set up, braided lines, RCS M/C and the HPK's......
I wouldn't buy another set for upgrading the brakes, just for the porn factor look :D:D

You are indeed correct the m4 and hpk are different units in construction and using completely different pads, the big tell tale sign of the hpk is the pad retaining pins are clearly visible on the top of the calipers.

Hpk (notice the pad retaining pins at the top)

After spending the night trawling the net trying to find out info for Colin I thought this might be of use to some of you too, (got this info off a vesrah pad resellers site) but if someone could verify who have the m4's would be appreciated.
So a change of pads should not cost much difference than buying a new set of pads for the stock Honda fitted calipers.*
Under £40 for sbs sintered pads inc delivery.
