Horrible news and one of those really unfortunate accidents. Drivers often dont think of where they stop and impact it can have on traffic - bike riders also guilty of this at times with underestimating width of one let alone 2 bikes side by side. He is still here to tell the tale and chance it could have been different result so he is lucky, know of a rider who had collision with tractor / trailer who did not make it, and low sun etc blamed for cause.
Thanks everyone he is on the mend and hobbling about i have his bike at my work place so gonna fix it up for him when i get 2
