You guys hiding the good stuff after I specially posted a nice RR4 for Spoons?:D

Anyway, I can't stay. Have to hover on eBay for 5 minutes to make a final crash bid on a special part!;)

Damn. Just been outbid. £94.00 plus 8.90 postage for a white SP seat cowl. I thought I'd clean up at 80 and then went to 92 and still missed out. Half glad did miss out. They can't be worth THAT much, surely?

So I now have an extra £92.00 in my kick. :D

Haha i didn’t know you were after a 954 as well?! I’ve missed it as the guy very kindly just called me to apologise saying someone just called him up and paid a £500 deposit for it. It was all original with 19k on it 2 owners white and blue for £2800. As Gary said it won’t hang about.

You're lucky I didn't see that. I'm weak at the knees already:(;).

Anyway, that looks magic and I'm almost willing to bet that it'll feel like a better ride than your other. Braided lines too:cool: and the mandatory HRC Master Cylinder sock! Yay!!:D

Thanks Nigel i'm hoping I got lucky with it as yet to see it in the flesh. It was listed on ebay Sunday morning just as I was browsing and immediately put in an offer, negotiated it and got accepted all within about 20 minutes. If it turns out to be as good as the advert says it is (the guy has over 300 ebays transactions at 100%) then I will have got myself a bargain, in my eyes anyway as it's the colour I wanted at the miles I wanted for the price I wanted. Quite a journey by train to go and get it and then ride it back but I can't wait!

Lol i've never got the whole sock thing, never had one on any of my bikes and never knew why anyone put one on, i'm assuming just to cover it up for appearance sake.

Some will say it's bling, but those in the know assure us that sunlight degrades the fluid hence the cover up. You will note that most MotoGP bikes use them also.

Strangely, I have more HRC cylinder socks than I do footwear socks:rolleyes::D.

Yeah I did but bailed out unfortunately as the hpi cert had a mileage warning on it which was an MOT mistake when recording the mileage however I just didn't want it after that and found the Repsol at the same time.

Cheers it does a have a small crack in one panel however I may get it replaced with a Honda panel as the owner said he had already looked into it and was told £300. If that is the case I may just well do it if the rest of the bike is in mint condition like the photos look. I also want rid of the quickshifter, never had one and not interested in one so will take it to a garage to get removed as i'm assuming it's not easy to do.

Thanks, travelling from Southampton to Stafford area for it. I'll travel any distance for the right bike as long as I can get there easily and cost is reasonable.

I think Spoons might be holding out on us. You know, crying about being on a budget then goes out and buys two. That's why we have to jump on these things quick, Gary.:D:D
