Cadwell Sunday 16th March

What time are you guys getting to Cadwell??

 

Just seen Steve plater testing a norton there tomorrow and Monday, looks like you'll have some company guys

And probably around late morning for me, going via the scenic route

 

I will try and get over too, late morning I guess

 

Hmm. The missus is going shopping in the afternoon, see you there after all

 

MOT ran out on Friday

 

That's not gonna stop you going on track though now you have a trailer is it

 

No but a lack if funds following purchase of said trailer will stop me paying for a track day

 

All ok today peeps nice day for it

 

Hope if anyone went to watch made it back ok, heard of 3 crashes involving bikes today in lincolnshire, one close to Cadwell where the ambucopter was called, ride safe guys!

 

I bailed on this - appears North West only part of UK covered in cloud and cold, maybe 9 - 10' at tops

I'll catch up at a race meeting sometime when its a bit warmer!

 

Me and Carl had a nice ride out, saw James and Yorkshire tyke, but we didn't stay long and saw nobody else

We did see one small crash but nothing serious thank God

 

I was about 11.30 for half hour or so, couldn't stay long, nice to be out on bike again tho

 

The only crashes I saw were on track, plenty of flags popping up. I arrived a bit late as I took the kids to Cadwell by car. Got some more decent pictures though.

And in all the years ive been going to cadwell this is the first time ive ever noticed a house planted right in the middle of the circuit.

 

Where the fuck did that house come from??!?!?

 

Can't believe you've never noticed it, gather it's the one on start finish straight, not sure if anybody lives there tho, be a great place to live, talk about race track in your back yard!

 

Bloody hell, never saw the house either. I take it is up by Barn.

 

Yeah, i guess that's where the name for the Barn corner came from as it looks a bit like an old farm house

Great weekend of riding the bike! Never had a problem with the gixxer all weekend! Good to meet up with tyke and his mates (R6's everywhere!!)

Novice group was mayhem! Bikes everywhere on track, not alot space out there. A very mixed ability group. Luckily I got tykes mates space in inters and moved up after lunch and found it alot easier.





I dont know how you lads jump the mountain. I aint got the balls for that
