don't buy directly off the website until you have contacted him… I got an email from them with different prices, 90£ for the frame and 80£ for the swingarm, thought he said to me aswell that they will combine for 200€, on the website there a bit more expensive than that ;)

might be ordering some aswell after crimbo

I just had a very nice reply from Luca at Carbon2Race. Thought it would be useful to some on here, so here it is:

    Hello David,
we do not have any deals for the parts, but we have some people in
Europe who us a little bit and have some special prices.
But I have just spoken with our CEO and he have said that we can make
you a special offer for your bike.
The prices we can offer you:

    Frame + Swingarm Covers: 200€
    Engine Covers: 110€
Front Fender: 80€ or 90€ ( 90€ version have a mounting point for brake
    lines )
    Rear Fender: 90€
    Tachometer support: 100€
    Air Tubes: 110€

Swingarm and Engine Covers can be made in special racing version which
will be available next year in our store. It was developed in our
company specially for our sponsored racers ( the covers are 2 - 4 times
stronger than any other available on the market ).
Prices for this version will be:

    Swingarm Covers: 199€
    Engine Covers: 219€

But you can get it for 130€ and 150€.

Shipping charges are 25€ per package ( in one package you can put all
the parts that are listed! )

    Regards,
    Luka Nemanic

Anyone on here got these fitted on their bike yet? I am thinking of going for the swing arm covers and frame covers. Looks like the units have to be glued or held on with cable ties, which does concern me a little. I have yet to attempt removing the fairings from my 2012 Blade. Is it a fiddly job?

The engine covers look nice too but once again, at least one of them seems to require gluing on with silicone.

Any wisdom gratefully received before I place an order !!

for engine covers I would opt for GB covers, and for the mounting of the frame and swingarm covers, either velcro of silicone, If you wanted to remove them, you could always peel the silicone off

The best option is to use Silikone. Bigger drops in few spots only, makes it easier to remove them in future. Silikon also prevents covers from slight moving on frame, i saw frame that after few years of having covers on it was scrached to bare aluminium in few places. As for engine covers, also you will need silikone for left side. Clutch cover is mounted on 3 bolts.
