Hay mate (lillywhites) chill out just kidding around, I joke all the time with my customers and forum mates!! Not knocking you or your bike!! The clue is in the SMILES!!! What part did you think was flaming you..?
Its cool mate, always hard to get accross that I'm a bit of a joker...like to try and have a laugh in the dull down times.. Cheers..
So is it true that the k&n filters actually flow worse than standard on the rr7? as i fitted these as soon as i got mine (july) Didnt think for one minute they'd be worse than stock!!? Cheers guys Chris.
Modman,... to the rescue!!!! Oh bugger! Where've they gone........ I might have to do you a superhero cartoon too Dan. Who'd you want to be?
I have read that none of the aftermarket air filters are any better than the standard filter. If memory is correct I think BMC Road seemed to come out as good as standard, not sure on the BMC Race ones.
Not keen on the HRC filters for road use. There isn't really any protection at all in them. Parkalgar Honda found that the Pipercross filters matched the performance of the HRC items and gave a lot more protection.
I agree I would not say run any race filter on the road, I run BMC race but my bike does VERY low miles and gets checked often, also the RR7's collect a whole load of crud imo as the air intake is somewhat exposed to dust etc thanks to the front wheel etc.. For what you gain stick with OEM filters if you want the best protection for your motor..
