The QS is very sensitive to any clutch pressure, so make sure the clutch isn't adjusted too tight. There should be a little free play on the lever to ensure the switch isn't activated. It could be a faulty switch, of course.
dgr ,thanks for the tip on the free play,there is about 8mil of free play at the lever,but it might be a faulty micro switch,i had a few of them go bad on the s1000rr
