Interesting the SP produces only 2KW power over the standard model which is just over 2.6 bhp at peak power even though it has the better internals. I realise it is a bit lighter but if someone is looking for better power I imagine the difference would be hard to feel.

Once set up properly the suspension should make a difference in terms of handling though.

It won't be tempting me though, still probably heavier than my 06 and power wise, probably about the same as mine at the back wheel. Not worth the extra 11 K I would have to find to get one.

Pretty sure though it will sell well.

I thought it was a fair price tbh..

    Set of matched pistons
    Set of matched rods
    Gas flowed and ported head
Ohlins R&T forks with 30mm carts as standard
    Ohlins TTX rear shock
    Mono sub frame
    Brembo calipers

People say power is not up much but take in mind the bike is sold with the OE exhaust for emissions reasons so no way it will be up much with that thing, when a full system is added the gain will be much higher than a stock motor would make with the same system.

You could say, how about I strip your engine get the head flowed, thin head gasket, four new matched pistons and rods, a ECU 3D remap to match, pair of R&T forks, a TTX36 shock also upgrade your brakes for 600 quid M4s all for 5k? I still think it sounds like a deal?

Man removing the rear pegs is worth 5k ;)

oh yes stripped down you can run up a bigger bill (can do that with all bikes)
but there is bikes out there with big spec for the same
price.they should have at least changed the shape of it to make it look like an all new model
rather than a 2013 with extras and new paint.
but then this only is my view (which doesnt count for much lol)

I agree with you and others, going carful not to contradict myself...lol

Mind you when you look at the upper spec of the others and the price gap from base to say high end the Honda SP stacks up well, know what you mean about features but does it need it? To a degree I think a lot of the others are just loaded with gimmicks?

yes that is true, still wouldnt mind rocking the big bhp of the others.
really like the RSV4 F the more I read/watch on it.
