Looks great... How do you polish it?! wont you make it shiny I thought you'd had it wrapped like everyone is doing to their super cars at the moment. I wonder if anyone does that to bikes and how much it would cost...
Thanks for the positive comments folks. ChrisOzzz: I am a bit worried about regular washing of it, to be honest, as if anything going to show up swirls, it'll be matte black. I did look into getting it wrapped originally, but the folk I spoke to up here (Aberdeen) said they weren't keen to do bikes anymore, as things like fuel tanks can be pretty tricky: I think it's due to the fact that there's a lot of curvature in two planes, if you know what I mean. Not wanting to take the black and gold theme too far, but I was thinking of gold levers and gold rearsets. Too much? By the way JamieHRC, I originally bought my bike in HRC colours because when I was trawling the forum before I was a 'blade owner I saw yours and thought it looked mint. I got a bit disillusioned when I realised there was no way I could keep it as immaculate as yours, so thought a colour change was in order...
Well thanks I don't think I could get a better comment on this forum It was a great bike but I will be like you next week as I pick up my Matt grey CB1000R and like you I'm worried how to wash it and keep it as clean as I like Been looking apparently water with quality shampoo then maguires quick detailer as a wax alternative ? Have you given her a scub down yet ?
I think there are special wax's for the matt colours I'm sure a chat with a couple of the specialist cleaning company's will get it sorted.. Ozz
