No problem fella... Normally go late march time when the weather improves and the days get longer as they are two pretty full on days!

Went out today with all the thermals I could find.Put a pair of nitrile gloves on too.Warm as a toastie. The only thing cold was my tyres, those roads were greasy too.Had a few hairy moments pushing it.Did'nt go past 8k revs after that cos it was just spinning the rear up, felt like I was dirt tracking so just worried about what the front was doing.Be careful out there lads and gals.

Went out for a cheeky 60 mile blast today, only to be pelted by horizontal rain, followed by a bout of snow.
So much for the sunrise Red Indian Sun Dance the local hippy told me about. Load of bollox that turned out to be.
Life lesson for us all there - never trust a hippy.

Note to the weather: it's Springtime now. Did you not get the memo??

Drove to Keswick yesterday in the car. Bit cold but roads drying out and salt had been washed away by recent heavy rain. Thought great might get chance to go out on bike tomoz. I obviously did bank on snow over night followed by rain then drizzle. Bummer, as usual.

    Brrrrrrr!!!
The snow stopped this afternoon and the cars created dry lines to ride on, so i took the bike out to test the luggage & covers as i dont want them flying off on the Scotland trip. I need to find a way of strapping the underside of the panniers together though as the bungee across the bottom of the exhaust has started to melt :-0

Sorted. It was the front bungee melting which i have now rerouted via the rear brake reservoir.

After an excellent, but freezing, 150 miler yesterday, I'm doing payback today when it's warmer and sunnier than yesterday - whilst the other half shops I'm on childcare duty, but it does mean I can take my time cleaning her,

Eventually managed to get out.....be it only for an hour but it felt soooooooooooo good. The only thing I,ve got to do in the not so distant future is to find out how to stop my leathers from shrinking over the winter months!!,had to shoehorn the buggers on! I asked the wife but I could,nt understand her between the fits of laughter trying to wriggle into the 1piece.

That's because the bike is black and you forgot to pull the starting handle off the front ,
Or maybe your getting old and you should now get a little motor home ,

Managed to get out... Quick run to Helmsley - Stokesley - Thirsk
Cold but not bad and soon warmed up with a quick 5 min stop at each

Saw a black/white blade parked in Helmsley with a private plate on... Anyone on here ?
