Not a problem, Soss, I'm happy to read through any suggestions to find a gem.

I'd definitely ridden through a thermocline, I could feel that through my leathers. Dropping over Haldon hill, there's nothing between me and Dans place but 70 miles of Bristol Channel and Dartmoor. It drops about 1500 ft in about a mile and a half and the temperature difference must have been about 5 degrees. Couple that with wind chill at exactly 69 mph and I think that's sufficient to cause it. I cleaned it with quick detailer not water so it didn't really get wet enough for any water ingress.

I'll keep an eye on and see if I can MacGuyver a solution.
