Just got back in to Portsmouth from my Spain trip heading over to the thistle at brands hatch so will hopefully have a walk round the track if allowed .See you all in the morning . Weathers not looking great though .
Glad to be back? Can't think of a better way to get over tour blues than a TD! Nice pubs in farningham and eynesford bout 3 mins from there if you fancy a venture out dude. Alternatively, if you get there reasonable and are bored I'm only ten mins down the road. If not see ya in the morning! Hopefully dry till lunch time. Fingers crossed, touch wood, etc etc etc
Cheers Jimbo Still recovering after the 24 hour roller coaster boat ride back from Spain, spent 1 hour trying to walk on deck then 23 hours trying not to puke with sea sickness I lasted about 9 hours.The captain apologised about the bad weather to the passengers as it was that bad , planning on staying around hotel having a swim /beer if you can pop down I will have a beer waiting. Just come back from walking around the whole track fecking awesome , they are letting me leave my trailer in our garage we have reserved .lets hope the weather isn't too cruel to us as it will be a shame to waste the track time riding in the wet.
I've heard it can be a rough crossing!! Ha ha... Its mega aint it. you dont get the steepness of paddock on tele ey, wait till your knee down having it lol....Forecast is shite from lunch time. So hopefully get a few dry sessions underway before we stick the wets on! Got some stuff to sort, but might pop up about 6 for a quick one (beer ) if you fancy it.
Just as well we had a garage reserved there are a few vans already here in a que to get in for the morning , I take it Sideways name is Gerry as that's who's name is on the reserved sign , the MSV bloke gave me a funny look when he said who's name it's booked under and my reply was "sideways"

Yup bit stop start and frustrating.... Could do without lunch break amd cracking on but good crack all the same! Managed a few dry sessions (interrupted).... Not sure we will get any more in

Well it's been scorching hot today in Spain after a wet few minutes in France. No red flags and even the police have not stopped playtime Glad you all had a good day at the track.
Great day today rain came as forecast we all put wets on and still have a lot of fun, Jimbos first time on wets and he was smiling like a Cheshire Cat. Lots of red flags today the most I have seen on a track day but the GP circuit is fecking awesome with some high speed straights 5th gear nearly flat out . Had a right laugh with Jimbo Dave sideways and Russ who is a diamond geezer. Took me a few sessions to remember the track will come back next year and hopefully its dry for the whole day . Just getting ready now as of out for a curry with the boys .
Well boys I had a top day with Dave, Andy , Jason,Jimbo,Tristram and of course the nutty Russ.That track was simply breathtaking.If you haven't tried it You Must have a go on that GP circuit.Had an off myself with a little gravel rash on the fairing and a ton of gravel collected everywhere even in my boots.Laid it over after two faster boys took the corner from me leaving me too wide to get out of it.Picked it up and rode it back without a red flag which was the norm on nearly every session. Tristram was not so fortunate and broke his leg, as we speak he is probably in theatre getting it pinned.A speedy recovery Trit.
