Heres a thought, what if I have just been through dealing with the virus and have come out the other side. Can I go about my business as normal? I get that riding a bike potentially puts extra strain on the NHS if it goes tits up but at the minute I could be someone that hasn't been infected and come off my mountain bike whilst excercising once a day.

In the interest of transparency, I believe I already had COVID-19. I was terribly sick in December. I was also somewhere near the outbreak (SE Asia) when I got sick.

I too had the symptoms for at least 2 months from mid November till January. Just couldn’t shift the cough which was so persistent it would stop me sleeping or even wake me up if I did sleep. Methinks a tinfoil hat is needed o_O

In the interest of transparency, I consulted my cat, Pia. She responded with this:

Shit hadn’t even given that a thought, I’ll be checking mine regularly from now on. Don’t want to be turning up at A&E with an exercise bike injury.

Does anyone know someone that has tested positive?

I know a few people that think they have it but nothing confirmed yet.

    Good morning all,
I know three people confirmed so far. One is a very close friend of the family, 75 year old woman. She was in quarantine for 14 days. She came out yesterday with the all clear. She had diabetes and not long ago a heart procedure. My cousin has been confirmed too. He has been told he's at the tail end of it though and recovering. He is 47 years old. He also went home yesterday. If you've seen my pics, he's the one ryding the BMW S1000RR MSPORT. I was out with him, just last Saturday, but I have no symptoms. Unfortunately, the third person died of it. He was the brother of a friend of one the of the guys we ryde with. The person that died was 70 years old. I never knew him personally, but it's the first death I know of.
    Real difficult times.
    Stay safe people.
    Chin

    Sorry to hear that Chin.

The virus seems to affect people in vastly different levels of severity. 75 year olds with other health issues coming through it and we see a 21 year old girl losing her battle with it. We are all vulnerable unfortunately.
