I get a sneaking suspicion that I'd look like a premium grade wally having to jump off and stand next to the bike everytime I came up to a set of traffic lights.

for the last 4 or 5 years i,ve been fortunate enough to run 2 bikes. i have an 11 plate blade and an 08 tuono 1000. they are both miles apart but each have there own characters. the blade is smooth, quick and feels great and is a far better bike than i am a rider.. the tuono is pretty lively, noisy and wind buffeting is a problem but its a hoot to ride and just oozes character. given the choice between the 2 i,d struggle to decide which one to keep. i test rode a v4 tuono but wasnt blown away by it enough to swap the blade in so got an older one as the other bike.

ABS mate? If you get one that works...great you'll love it, get one that don't you'll hate it and hate riding......end of...thats the only answer.

I tried a S1000R on an extended test earlier this year, it was not for me, hated the electronics, and got bored with the wind blast. Just my own personal perspective.

It's good to see at least one member of the mc press (Mark White, Perf Bikes) is brave enough to document a real opinion on the blade's ABS

Cheers Thanks... will check it out. The more I think about it. Not sure Th wind buffering appeals... the more I look at it. Probably ok for local short blasts...
