Si that's a good result from the dyno mate. You must be well chuffed.

So am i dude. At one point i thought the PCV was knackered.... No wonder you where getting flames banging on the over run with it...and running like poop. Did you find it using a shit load of fuel too??

Col, it was cold though, so it will be a good figure anyway. I also know not every dyno uses ram air to simulate rear world riding...his is linked to the speed so more revs means more air going in ( i think that's right) so instead of just dyno-ing the bike without ram air (which, again i think is pointless as it's not real world) then you will get a lower figure. Torque is increased a bit, but more importantly, it's smoother to ride.

That's what I'm looking for from mine. Not really bothered about top bhp just more driveability. Did it make much more in the midrange?

Very good final readout ... the cold could be worth 5 bhp compared to a hot summers day

Nice figures Si and great looking curve, I bet your well chuffed.

If your interested, torque is definitely what your wanting to improve and also get the torque curve as smooth and as flat as possible.

People often talk about how much BHP an engine makes but engines don't make BHP they make torque. BHP is not measured it is calculated from torque and engine speed using this formula.

Horse Power = (Torque x RPM) divided by 5252

In simpler terms think of BHP as Power and Torque as force or as one person once described too me BHP is how quick a boxer can punch you and Torque is how hard he can punch you.

Cheers Nuts I liked it too, not very technical but it gets the point across in easy terms.
