right I ignore a thread because I hear all I want about the trumpet from my trumpet collecting mate and now @nigelrb has been upset again . why has some one kicked over the litter tray we all know it's not going to end well.
As previously mentioned..... I stopped looking at this thread months ago....... What have I missed???
At the end of the day Nigel is a retired guy with nothing else to spend his money on other than motorcycles and number plates. We all post pictures of our new things, I do myself...... New SP, new helmets, new garage blah blah blah. In the new members thread you are encouraged to post pictures of your new bike...... So what, do we have to stop at one?? As a motorcycle fan I appreciate any pictures posted of rare or exotic machines, I certainly don't think he should be 'called out' for doing so. Just saying
he offered me the bolts from his rr4 crash bungs when I realised mine were not standard r +g . that was kind . also he's done a service by keeping divorce courts busy cat trinket manufacturers (as long as not chinese) in buisness and I'm 100% sure that every man/woman on here would have more than one bike if possible. and I like to see and hear what people have got. oh I like to see the bikes too.
I think the criticism of him talking about his bikes is nonsense. I never got the impression of any showing off etc or wanting to be in the limelight. Think he just had plenty of time on his hands to talk about them. I don't agree with him on his opinion of McG though, I think he was misguided with that.
Haha, cheers matey. Whilst I’m certainly no coded welder I’m sure we can all be critical of our abilities and want to aim higher.
And I’m sure most of us wish we could have another bike or two for different tasks, be that touring, green laning, track time etc.
As a motorcycle fan I appreciate any pictures posted of rare or exotic machines, Think you must of been looking elsewhere mate as here was nothing rare or exotic about any of his collection. But each to there own mate
