The RS is mental after 8000rpm and my Daytona 675R 2015 was again very lively above 8000rpm on the road nothing compares for me and I own a 2018 SP2, I have ridden the bigger naked bikes s1000r v4 tuono great bikes but for me nothing on the RS but each to there own. As I said above if the new Daytona is a mix of the RS and the 675R we are in for a treat.

As for the Thruxton R its looks the part and is great fun to ride to a point but I am not ready for that sort of riding just yet and I think its a bike I would get bored of very quickly

 

Not bored of quicksilver just wrong for collection there will be another

 

Good spot nigelrb - £10 for some stickers, shame it doesn't include a bike to stick them on.. If I still had my old black CBR600RR I could have had some fun pretending to be a Daytona on my way to work (I'd have to whistle a lot to mimic that triple sound though).

 

Would like one for jacket and jeans riding sometimes a change from full power ranger mode....friend of mine just ordered a new R1m due September does look proper trick and well finished piece of kit....lots of carbon and looks special and now numbered on yoke...makes BMW look like a Lego set.

Thanks, good spot - had it recorded so just had to go and have a look. If this is the bike, which I’m guessing not quite, then it looks like it’ll be good fun. Noticed a monochrome dash, NISSIN callipers and max rpm around 14,000..

 

Also had ktech front suspension. Still good kit but I wonder if that bike, which matches the one in the photo, is a more race prepped bike.

 

Any news from Arrow? I'm guessing there'll be radio silence until the 23rd.. not that I'm trying to quickly wish away the next couple of weeks of my life of course - because that would be truly sad right?!

Yes, I'm hoping the Moto 2 special we've signed up for will have some exclusive components that won't make their way into the general production model (if it does appear).. and I'm not just thinking special paint! 15 more days until the "big reveal"..

 

The dash will say "Moto2 copyright Dorna 2019" when you turn tbe ignition on
