I called Farnham Honda today to see if they could match your deal for me and the best they could do was a Repsol for £10700 but that was without the Performance Pack which is a shame because i really wanted to do a deal with them rather than GW. GW can do the 2011 Repsol for £10495 so its looking at the moment that i will test riding tomoz and purchasing in the next couple of weeks from them.
Hi mate. Interesting. I know of at least two who got a very similar deal to me. It could be that it's coming to peak season and dealers don't want to move on prices, knowing they can still sell them at close to RRP. Keep pushing on prices though. Good luck.
Just keep looking pal, what ever the dealers say this recession is just going on and on, given whats to come in the public sector i see no light at the end of the tunnel as yet. Lets just see how many people have the odd £10k spare to spend on a toy (not what i use my bike for but most do). Cash speaks, so just hold your nerve.
I'd try and get used to ABS if i were you as Our Euro overlords will no doubt make it compulsory soon.
Right Tippets can do me a Repsol Blade for £10500 2011 model and they will throw in the proper hugger and do me trade price on any aftermarket parts i want as well. Should be test riding tomorrow hopefully. They also have a 2010 HRC for £9995 as well
That's a good deal I could have had 2011 HRC for 10400 but got a 2010 for 9995 as I prefer the colours on the 2010. They removed the rear pegs for free and I got a discount on seat cowl and some other bits etc and free uk delivery I bought it from hunts. Really good service.'can totally recommend
