Mate I actually know them personally and they are all decent guys who love bikes and Ducati trained to the max. I put my bike in one time for a new rear tyre and some new bodywork. I rode off and felt my brake lever had become firmer and brakes felt really sharp. They'd gone over the bike as standard making sure everything was good. They take pride in their work and it shows obviously Also think the no test riding is silly but I guess it's something they don't really want to get into majorly as they prefer to sell new bikes and then they have their race team Andy on the front desk rides for. If you call up mention Ben with the blade recommended them for a top service and I'm sure you'll get just that
I used to get my bike services by SBK City just east of City of London. Ralf LoTurco owns it. He races, and loves his work. And loves the bikes. Can't get much better. Always looked after me. Only ever charged for actual work, when he replaced my downpipes a few years ago he spent about 2 days getting rusted bolts out of the block. Still only changed me the standard rate. I think I once paid about £35 to get my rear bearings replaced! (They were well poked). For my newer bikes in warranty I've used Motoden (No complaints, and they're closer to where I work now than SBK) and Hatfields in Crowthorne (Excellent but it's out of the way sadly). I bought my last 2 bikes form Hatfields... Only complaint I have is the bloody big thing they sold some bloke on the same day I got my blade that can't filter and sits blocking the M4 a lot... Not sure I can blame them directly for that though H
