No Limits. I dont know how they would police that one at cadwell as you get your sticker and they write a number on it. So unless the number relates to the use of a baffle then i can't see how they would know if you were under without one or not? I dont know if this relates to Donnington though if its all done on drive by.
I ve not done a No limits day at Donny but many times with focussed...... they hold a baffle in the air on the brief "if you aint showing summat you aint getting on" is whats normally said...... yes I know you can still fail as some occasionally do..... normally they will assist you with advice.... and priced help ! around £30.00 gets you some exhaust device..... that should help to pass....
They will walk up the queue and look as you join track in pit lane....... its not hard to see a missing baffle..... and as I said you ll get measured by pit straight.... not sure if they have anyone else on a trackday ?
So if i were to buy a baffle as a backup for mine, just in case, what do i need to look for as the exit pipe is angled?
Next time your at a No Limits day look out for the Parkitt truck they usually support there days and will sort you a baffle out.
it's very simple. if it's a 98db (quiet day) and are running anything other than a standard system you will need a baffle, and even then you may struggle.quiet days are aimed at road riders pure and simple. if it's an unrestricted day, take your headers off for all they care.
and the other thing, the noise etc has niothing to do with the trackday organiser,it's all down to the track management. no one from the TDO will bat an eye lid if you have a baffle in or not as it's nothing to do with them. the only thing the TDO will bollock you for is poor, dangerous riding, noise and any other limits the track places on you is down to the track staff, not the TDO staff to police.
