Yeah I need to get my suspension sorted out, next track day will let them look at it, suspension set up is a black art to me lol... Still manged to beat my best lap by 3s, should be better once i get the fuelling correct (was runnnig Rich and used way to much fuel) and the suspension sorted, I got low light come on twice, a quick dive into pits for a top up sorted that
Good point about Mallory & Rockingham. There's also that one at Gainsborough. Even Croft is about the same distance (for me at least) as Silverstone. Another possible idea could be to ride with warmers in a rucksack to one of the tracks with power, that way we can pre arrange to hire paddock stands from tyre support or put the feelers out to borrow from a forum member. I have that problem too You sussed the lap timer then I found a more discrete place to mount my Qstartz receiver now. Knocked another 2 sec off at Cadwell now I'm starting to get my knee down a bit more, still struggling with the right though. Managed a toe slider at Park and nearly pulled my foot off
Can you manage 102db static I'll take both days, Snett being the 2nd. Tempted to leave you with my paddock stands at Cadwell and ride to Snett
Hopefully can do 102db with baffle in, tested at just under that at Cadwell would ne a hell of a waste to drive and get turned away
I'm sure that the track support guys could sort the baffle if needs be. I'll book Cadwell tomorrow as I wanted to do an OPL this year, plus it completes my new years resolutions
You must be leading the inters as would have thought that you would have been in the advanced/fast group on your new R1.
Well did cadwell day on the 30th August, great day, great weather, but their damn noise tester was crap, last time 105db (no baffle) Passed, this time, same pipe, 110db first try, then 108db failed, put baffle in and 100db?? bloody weird, will hope the open pit lane day goes better? getting knee down - helps to have long legs
