no worries but just up from my garage and cable tied the lever to the handlebars- will leave it for 24hrs in past this has removed air from system? if not going to go back to dealer and try and get a non abs version- IF YOU HAVE NO CONFIDENCE IN THE FRONT BRAKE OF A MOTORBIKE WHATS THE POINT IN EVEN RIDING IT!!!!!!!!

Also try tapping the callipers, lines and MC and do a mini bleed, hopefully this will work for you.

Felt like that for a while mate, I did do the research first and asked a few questions here , my ABS light even flashed on my test drive! and still decided to buy the ABS. I've had all the issues but no hardware has been replaced. If you are lucky its only air in the lines, lets hope this is the case:)

Holy good god, i am so pleased i clicked on this thread, i was totally unware of all this with ABS blades, what happens if Europe make it mandatory that ABS is fitted ... and you have no choice !!!!

Sod that, my current 954 is ABS free and my brakes are perfect, i don't take chances with tyres or brakes, i think i will stick with standard.

yeah, i had a gut feeling it was going to be something like that with the ABS - i have a 2011, no abs and glad about it, thanks for the heads up.

I was so close to buying an abs model but a bike came up next to where I was working and I popped my head in and put the bike in the van! Sure in time it will be perfect but obviously not yet!
I'd rather be locking up the rear than have no brakes!
