don't you dare! how about we whack an extra light on those ugly car things!! right in the middle of the bonnet, then us stupid human beings won't be able to get confused.
Some News: The plug'n play module for H7 is ready! Maybe some little changes in the color of the wires, but I got the adapters in blue/white :-( My new Module, version 4.0 has a waterproof sealing and some changes in the firmware. The firmware changes are now in ALL my dual headlight modules, means version 3.x and 4.0 The changes are: 1.Adjustable span: Now from ~25% to ~90% to always make sure that it is possible to decide if the module is defect or only dimmed to zero. The span before was from 0-100%. 2.Save the settings: Now the settings are directly been saved during the setup process automatically. Once you finnished the setup, just turn off the ignition to leave the setup mode. Thats all! 3.Detection of an deactivates Module: I got a lot of claims that the module is defect, customers send it back to me for repair. In no case the module was defect, it was only deactivated. For those cases I added a function. If the module is deactivated, the integrated led will flash shortly every 5 seconds to indicate that the module is deactivated. In every case (deactivated, dimmed to lowest possible value) the high beam will always work normally once the high beam switch is active! Here is a photo of the first module:
The price for the plug'n play module V4.0 is 64€. Shipping 8,50€ to UK. Yes, if the 2014 an onwards models will have H7.
The only thing that really get's my goat on my 05 is the bloody headlights, How do I get one? Full details please. I take it they work with all H7's.
Regarding the being mistaken for a car at a distance thing. I can't think why that would be a safety issue? If anything cars will give other cars more room. Genuinely interested in the reason.
I was told that the bike would seem like a car but from a much further distance away so cars drivers would misjudge your distance.
I don't get it either, The headlights are like 4" apart, is it really gonna make much difference? I want both lights on for daylight riding,(just because it looks better) older bike's have the two lights on set-up (my CBR125 did) never had any more problems than I get now. Daytime use shouldn't make much difference, and at night with lights approaching you it's sometimes hard to know if they are moving let alone how fast!!!
At night drivers tend to judge other vehicle distance from.them by how far the lights are apart, a motorcycle with two headlight close together give the impression (for a moment on an unlit road) like a car a long way away and therefore misjudge the distsnce resulting on a bad overtake or bad emerge from a junction resulting in an RTA :-(
Ah I see Thank you. Both lights on my KLV-1000 are on too, they not only look better but at night give much better illumination. I do love the V4 Tuono
lol they forgot to cut the other hole mate! looks nice mate, and at least you can accept the one light that way
Is best to fit the module behind the main beam or is easier to mount in another location ? Regards Chris
Hi mates. The documentation for my H7 plug and play version could be found on my website >>> click <<< I have some modules ready for shipping. Delivery to UK takes around 3-5 days.
I have the latest module for sale, unused if anybody is interested in buying it. Decided to sell the blade, so won't be needing it. Just want what I paid for it minus the postage. £52 delivered.
Fitted duel module to 2014 and 2015 blade today. The wiring is different from the plan but module goes on the left hand side light and the positives are blue left side white on right. Just take a picture so you know which way to connect them back on. Took only 38 mins to do the last bike today and that's with heatshrinking the connections. Thanks Jens excellent!
