east coast forum meet sunday 12th may

i think that as a group we all ride very well and sensible, we were ridding at a good pace but not stupid speed, as for passing i did pass a few people last time but that was because the group was starting to split into 2 and i wanted to catch up to the front group a little, there was no stupid passing going on at all that i spotted, they were all done on long straights when there was big enough gaps between bikes

 

Just echoing what Fez has said there, really. The 1000rr group rides that I've been on have been excellent. Cracking on a bit but certainly not at a daft pace and not with any stupid heroics. I've never felt stressed or stretched.

Yorkshire Tyke... If i can turn up meeting 12 blokes Ive never met in a car park and then go out all day for a ride then you can.Absolutely no worries....

Well I am near Leeds JC27 M62 , there will be me and two or three others , If any one has any suggestions
for a meeting point and a time???

 

As soon as fez gets a route planned we can arrange some meeting points?

 

Not sure on this point !But as everybody has "cop fever" is it time to pm everyone and not put the proposed route up for every Tom dick and Harry to see?

I will post the route up tonight or tomorrow morning peeps. been manic last few days, didnt even get out on the bike today so im not best pleased

ash told me to go to sherburn in elmet from fridaythorpe via escrick, not sure if its 100% correct but this is the general area

I am in West Yorkshire so Sherburn for me is ideal , where do you plan to go from there , are you going to reverse the route back to Whitby , then those who start at Sherburn or some where on the route get to do the full circle of the route ??? , looking forward to it any way , chance to meet up with you all

Sorry for my neglect on this thread recently but i have had quite a manic few weeks. i will start sending a few pm's to people to try to arrange meeting times ect and maybe look at the possability of reversing the route and going from squires to whitby. hope to set some concrete plans for you all very soon
