Sorry. Not been around on the forum very much, dude. I'm just on doing renovations to my house and it's taking up all my time and money. Frighteningly so I could've bought a new Blade with what I've spent in the last few weeks I'll try to get my arse out for this as I haven't really ridden much so far this year.
UPDATE: we are going to do this route in reverse and meet at squires and then ride over to whitby. we will be leaving squires at 12o'clock so it will be best to get there a little earlier so we can all grab a quick drink and have a natter before we set off
Nice one fez cant wait to meet peeps. gonna be quite fuzzy round squires im sure theyd love nothin more than to stop and endorse a load of blades
Hi Fez Been pulled up on a few ocassions , never been questioned about a smallish plate and not having a baffle in , more interested in road legal tyres , lights working etc , never say never though
Sticking to the speed limits in 30 40 and 50's is what there looking for also , especially through the small villages
Im with you on this mate, i never speed in 30,40 and 50 zones. just give in the beans once into 60+ zones
Here is the list of who is coming so far fez +1 bobmg +2 ashblade yorkshire tyke bororich hopefully we will be joined by coupe and joe if he can keep enough oil in his engine then maybe blaggers but i havent heard anything from him recently and dave if he can swap shifts and there are a couple of other members who could possibly turn up. I always say this but its not just a fireblade meet and anybody is more than welcome to bring friends along if they wish too
Yeah I'm still in, the weather looks crappy from around mid afternoon, is it worth considering an early starter to grab most of the sunshine and less sunday traffic??? Its 10 degrees from 8am tomorrow and if we're lucky we may avoid the boys in blue
Dunno ash Ive been speaking to fez today and think hes sent out some PMs to people, I have suggested that we start a fair bit earlier because the forecast is due to be shit from 1oclock onwards so we'd be meeting up to ride in the rain :/
Just waiting for a couple of replys. i am happy to leave squires at 11 or maybe even 10.30 if thats ok with you lot
i must be an early bird, i was thinking of catching the worm around 9/9:30, get the best of the sunshine....
thats going to be a tad to early for me as it takes me about 1hr 15 - 1hr30 to get there so i would have to be setting off at 7. looking at the weather the rain will be following behind us but it wont actually rain anywhere untill after 2 o'clock so i think setting off at 10.30 should easily see us miss all the rain and arrive in whitby about 12.30 -1, that should even give us all time to get home again before it starts peeing it down
