Not sure if Rich is still frequenting the forum? Was wondering if the Woolich kit now supports a quickshifter - I notice Rich mentioned it in his original post but the details for the 2010-14 CBR1000RR kit on the Woolich website do not list a QS as an option (whereas it is listed for some other bikes on there for instance). Been looking at getting a QS for some time so this would be a bit of a no brainier if it's integrated into the same module as that which adjusts fuelling/ignition. And likewise, if that's the case, there'll be another PCV up for sale as well
Hi Guys, OK I have not been on the forum for a while because I have been building race engines for teams testing in Spain who are leaving this week so have literally had no spare time. OK so I will try to get the ball moving again. 1) For those of you with earlier CBR's we still intend to release them back to at least 2004 but they are very different to the 2008 onwards in how they work and so are on the back burner until we have released the new ZX10R & R1 as well as the Ducati Panigale we are doing for Troy Bayliss and his new race team. 2) Yes we are doing race tools, quickshifter, launch control & pit limiter for the 2008 onwards. State of play is that we have all the hardware done and need to write the bespoke code & test it before releasing as soon as we can but after the above mentioned models. 3) The HRC based ignition and injector balance maps can now be done for you by us at £150 mail in or for those of you who own a flash kit or are purchasing one, the maps can be downloaded from the mapshare portion of our www.woolichracing.co.uk website. See the maps below:- (blue indicates increase in map values and red indicates a decrease. White background is stock.)
Hi Rich For guys looking into getting a kit, do you have a list of places that can set it up on a dyno for them? I've had a few folks asking this
Hi Colin, yes of course I will sort one out, don't forget though if you put in the tuned maps above and then autotune the bike with a log box it would be very good without needing the dyno! Lots of race teams are now going this way, however if you want a dyno chart there's only one way and you can really those maps in to the max. Cheers Rich
Silly or obvious question maybe, but where are you based Rich? Can't find any details on your website!
