Elbow down, that's the way. It is getting serious all this though, what with gyms and stuff.

I'm literally going to do nothing to prepare for the 2nd, some light meditation perhaps.

Only light meditation? I would suggest 4 hour enduro every day, 2 hours in the gym, yoga at dawn and midday and then unwind with heavy kick ass meditation. should fill the day.

I expect to see everybody backing it in to all corners and nothing less and keeping it lit on the exit.

Hmmmm, don't want that again. We shall all play nicely then. Unless there is an elbow down contest.

I'm sure if elbow down is the competition you will be lifting the gold rob!

God no!! Never tried it!! I am perfectly capable of falling off going round corners with my knee down, never mind the carnage that would arise from an elbow down moment. Besides, too many broken bones mean things don't work quite as they should. That's my excuse and I am sticking to it. ;)

There is nothing wrong with that. It only becomes a problem when you decide to try it again for the third time to see if the first and second times were just luck and then it goes pear shaped.

Time wise around Oulton, Tommy Hill did it in 1.35 for the BSB, a lad I race with who did the British Superstock 600 there a couple of weeks ago got into the 1.42s. To be honest with you, I would be happy with anything around the 1.50 mark, as this would get me a signature next year on my clubman licence where you have to finish within 110% of the winners time to upgrade to the national licence.

yeah, a 1.55 is a good time. Keep at it and those times will soon fall. It is a tricky circuit to learn though and one I reckon takes many laps to get half comfortable on. All we need is a good dry day and it will be a cracker. Fingers crossed I can get my quickshifter fitted before then, as I have a big meeting the following weekend and could do with some setup time with it before then.

Lunatics? Not quite. It is more about hiding the lunacy well, being able to disguise it as something else.
