Hello mate ! Got tired of a Blackbird forum (No names mentioned ) winging & whining about just about everything. So thought i'd join up for some decent conversation, banter & general silly shite you'd expect from a decent forum. Seems good so far. @ kpone, My CB550f2 was a 1977 model which are now going for stupid money (Just like everything else of that era !) Great bike, though. SRD 66S, where are you now ?
The knee is doing really well, i,m a lot more further ahead than i was with the other one. I had my "6 week post op" examination last friday & the Surgeon is well happy with my progress. So i've had the go-ahead to drive the car, but the bike will have to wait 'till i feel confident enough. So now i have two complete Titanium knees. I'll be worth a mint when i'm dead ! lol
Mine's a 76 f1. Sat in the back of the garage waiting for me to grow a pair and do a complete strip and rebuild.
If you look at the prices of them at the moment, that will will give you some incentive. Some are going for 3K , but that said, still really good bikes & better than the 400/4 (In my opinion)
If you're that big you'd do better wearing a 400/4 like bling rather than riding it. LOL. I'm only 5' 8" and they were too small for me. My 550 was my proper big bike and I'd love it for that alone. A third the power of what I've got now and about half a hundredweight heavier.
That's great news Doc, we really must catch up there's so much we need to moan about! lol Do you think you'll be ready to ride before the opening BSB Brands Hatch round?
